Job Summary
Oversee final inspection and packaging of manufactured goods while ensuring all finished products meet quality standards and specifications. Manage and train a team of finishing technicians, schedule tasks to meet production deadlines, and troubleshoot issues related to finishing processes or equipment. Implement and maintain safety protocols within the finishing department. This role requires proven supervisory experience in manufacturing, strong knowledge of finishing processes like painting and powder coating, and familiarity with quality control methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma. Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment, preferably in finishing or a related field
- Strong knowledge of various finishing processes, materials, and equipment (e.g., painting, powder coating, polishing, deburring)
- Demonstrated ability to lead, train, and motivate a team to achieve production targets and quality standards
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve issues related to production, quality, and personnel
- Familiarity with quality control procedures and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma)
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, for interacting with team members, management, and other departments
