Job Summary
Finishing Specialist role in a medical device manufacturing environment focused on finishing operations. Responsibilities include deburring and surface defect removal, completing documentation, operating mass finishing equipment, assembly and packaging of parts, laser marking, heat treat, and other secondary operations. Requires reading and interpreting blueprints/specifications, inspecting deburred parts with gauges and microscopes to ensure conformance to quality standards, adhering to 5S and safety policies, setting up basic operations, performing line clearance between jobs, and potentially cross-training others. Strong emphasis on continuous improvement, teamwork, and accurate documentation. Night shift schedule is Monday–Thursday, 5PM–5AM. PPE/ERPs and PC skills in Windows recommended.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 1-2 years relevant experience
- Experience within a close tolerance manufacturing environment
- Intermediate ability to read and interpret assembly drawings and specifications
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
