Job Summary
Receive, inspect, and organize raw materials and purchased items used in company operations. Select and cut lumber and assemble shipping boxes according to customer and shipping specifications. Maintain accurate inventory levels of supplies and consumable materials, requesting reorders as needed to support uninterrupted operations. Complete all required paperwork accurately and in a timely manner. Safely operate and maintain proficiency with hand and power tools, performing routine maintenance on equipment. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with company safety standards, ensuring proper use of personal protective equipment. Assist with other production and warehouse duties as assigned to support department operations.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to stand, bend, pull, push, and reach throughout the workday.
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds safely and repeatedly.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to operate hand and power tools.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing/production environment.
- Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as appropriate.
