Finishing Operator

Gluer Operator in the Finishing Department responsible for safety, quality, and productivity. Works with the Gluer Feeder on make-readys, troubleshooting, and training. Ensures product quality, production efficiencies, and scrap rates meet standards; applies quality control procedures (including SAP); notifies management of issues and offers solutions. Prepares accurate production, inventory, and material usage reports; supervises staff during downtime and make-ready periods; ensures correct paperwork. Trains new employees on operating procedures. Maintains housekeeping and supports GMPs, sanitation, AIB/5S, and company standards. Supports Lean, 5S, Six Sigma and continuous improvement programs and strives to meet customer requirements and deliver results. Must be able to stop any process not meeting safety requirements and conduct 15-minute quality checks when possible; performs all other duties as assigned.
