Finishing Operator, 2nd Shift

Job Summary
Visually inspect, deburr, clean, tumble, blast, and spin small machined components using stereo-microscopes, hand tools, and automatic equipment to remove burrs and polish surfaces. Perform vapor degreasing and basket blasting while adhering to established procedures and manufacturing specifications. Measure and inspect medical device products against standards, accurately complete quality documentation, and escalate issues to the Finishing Manager. Read part drawings and follow written instructions from supervisors to ensure parts meet company and regulatory compliance standards.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work under a microscope for an extended period of time
- Ability to read part drawings
- Above average manual dexterity and mechanical aptitude
- Organized
- Team player with the ability to multi-task effectively
- Reliable, self-starting team player with ability to work with little or no supervision
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Self-starter
- Advanced critical thinking and problems-solving skills
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office products
- Specific vision abilities, including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and capacity to adjust focus
- Ability to sit
- Ability to climb or balance
- Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
- Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds
- Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
