Job Summary
Operate specialized folder-gluing equipment to transform printed materials into finished cartons while monitoring quality standards and minimizing waste. Set up machinery according to production specifications, prepare and handle materials throughout the manufacturing process, and troubleshoot issues to maintain efficient output. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment by adhering to safety protocols and supporting continuous improvement efforts. Work in a fast-paced production setting with rotating day and night shifts, requiring extended standing and physical stamina.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn new systems or equipment
- Ability to meet the schedule and physical demands of the role, including standing, moving, and working on your feet for extended periods
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8–12 hours per shift)
- Regularly lift, push, pull or move materials up to 50 lbs
- Frequent use of hands and arms for machine operation and material handling
- Ability to read gauges, measure materials, and perform quality checks
- Experience in print, packaging, manufacturing, warehouse, or other hands-on production environments
- Troubleshooting experience with machinery or equipment
