Job Summary
Leading the on-the-floor finishing and painting of production USVs with a team, ensuring safety, quality, delivery, and productivity objectives are met; performing as a working leader with hands-on duties in finishing/painting, conducting in-process quality checks, leading safety improvements, maintaining equipment and material handling, and driving continuous improvement through team meetings and process reviews.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- 3-5 years experience in a painting/finishing Supervisor, Team Leader or Manager role
- 5-10+ years of experience in boat painting/finishing or a similar manufacturing environment preferred
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, including assembly diagrams
- Familiarity with OSHA and other manufacturing management practices
- Strong understanding of lean manufacturing practices
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work safely
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced production environment
- Confident computer skills to use Microsoft solutions and ERP systems
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
