Job Summary
Follow production instructions from process sheets, blueprints, or verbal directions to achieve desired manufacturing outcomes. Install machine fixtures by aligning and securing dies, punches, and blades. Operate machinery such as lathes, mills, drills, presses, and CNC machines according to specifications. Monitor the production process to ensure machines function correctly and perform inspections using calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify product tolerances. Adhere to cleanliness and safety protocols, including wearing PPE and using a crane or buddy system for heavy parts. Work Monday through Friday from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM in a non-climate-controlled shop environment. Assist in other areas or departments as needed.
Required Qualifications
- average math skills
- ability to read and comprehend instructions written in English
- ability to complete simple logs and reports in English
- physically able to handle heavy items, including lifting, pushing, pulling, and positioning components
- ability to work scheduled hours

- ability to consistently stand for an entire shift in a non-climate-controlled shop environment
