Finishing Assistant

Job Summary
Finishing Assistant responsible for the safe and efficient packing and labeling of finished pouches and rolls, supplying materials to keep Finishing equipment operating, learning finishing equipment operations, and applying safety, quality, and production procedures. Tasks include packing from slitting machines, assisting with setup, paperwork, labeling and palletizing finished rolls to customer requirements, stocking operating supplies, and supporting continuous improvement within the Finishing department while collaborating with co-workers to meet safety and production standards.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1 year working in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Ability to stay on task and follow instruction
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift continuously for up to 12 hours
- Ability to repeatedly lift up to 50 lbs without assistance
- Ability and willingness to drive forklift
- Must flex hours to support multi-shift operation
