Finisher Pig Technician

Job Summary
Power wash and sanitize barns, rooms, and hallways daily. Manage nutritional requirements for older pigs and assess their body and health conditions. Administer proper treatments to animals and maintain the most optimum environment for the herd. Work independently and within a team while complying with bio-security, safety, and animal welfare policies. This role requires continuous walking and standing for at least 8 hours per day, frequent lifting of objects up to 50 pounds, and the ability to reach, bend, and stoop. Schedule starts at 6:00 a.m. and ends by 3:00 or 4:00 p.m., though times may be modified for loading and receiving.

- Be at work on scheduled days and ready to walk into barns by start time
