Finisher I/Sand & Buff

The Sand & Buff role polishes cabs/parts to Spartan Paint Appearance standards. Responsibilities include inspecting for defects, removing dirt/runs, sanding and buffing with DA sander and air polisher, detailing cab/body before dispatch, reading and following detailed instructions/drawings, understanding production flow, self-checking work, meeting production goals, maintaining a clean/safe work area, initiating process improvements, and supporting 5S. Must work in a team, communicate with cross-functional teams, wear PPE, and be able to tolerate high heat and dusty conditions; overtime may be required. Education of HS diploma or GED and basic computer skills are preferred; body & paint experience is listed as a preferred qualification.
