Job Summary
Operate finishing equipment including washing and oiling processes while verifying temperatures and reviewing Job Cards to ensure compliance with routing instructions. Maintain clean work areas free of hazards and contamination risks by checking equipment, containers, and drums before and after processing. Sign off on completed work orders and coordinate with subsequent operations like dock audits and sorting. Lift up to 70 lbs using approved techniques and adhere to EPA, OSHA, and general safety regulations. Perform multiple processes simultaneously to meet performance standards. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- classroom or on-the-job training in environmental management including hazardous waste material
- Mechanical aptitude
- mathematical proficiency
- Must be able to lift 70 lbs. using approved lifting techniques
