Job Summary
Deburr, sand, and clean complex parts on aluminum, steel, plastic, and copper with little or no direction from the area Lead or Supervisor. Utilize shop paper procedures for updates, signatures, stamps, quantity counts, labeling, and non-conformance activities. Read blueprints, tooling instructions, and standard charts to operate pneumatic or electric finishing tools including orbital sanders, DA sanders, flappers, and die grinders. Work Mon-Fri 6:00am to 2:30pm, swing 2:00pm to 10:30pm, or weekends 8am to 8pm. Requires five to seven years of finishing experience and extensive knowledge of abrasive progression.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Extensive knowledge of abrasive(s) progression required to achieve specific surface finishes
Desired Qualifications
- Previous finishing experience of five to seven years preferred
