Finisher 1 - 2nd Shift in Memphis, TN. Responsible for transforming machined components into finished products using finishing processes (deburring, grinding, bead blasting, tumbling, polishing) and coordinating with microscopes and optical/mechanical devices. Reads blueprints, performs basic measurements (micrometers, verniers, optical comparators), operates finishing and marking equipment (laser marking, laser welding if required), and ensures compliance with Smith & Nephew policies, quality manuals, and applicable FDA/QSR standards. Works under close supervision in a team environment, focusing on safety and cleanliness; requires a High School diploma or equivalent and 0-6 months of medical device experience.
