Job Summary
Receive and organize finished products from production, verify quantities and part numbers, and properly label items for identification. Move goods to designated inventory locations, pick finished goods according to customer orders, and perform inventory counts to maintain accurate records. Assist the Shipping department by preparing orders for shipment, verifying shipments against documentation, and ensuring products are securely packaged. Report discrepancies, damaged products, or inventory issues to management while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area. Consistently, regularly, and predictably attend work and on time.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Ability to read and understand packing lists, purchase orders, and shipping documents
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to safely lift and move materials as required
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials and finished products
- Ability to perform repetitive material-handling tasks
- Consistently, regularly and predictably at work and on time
Desired Qualifications
- one to three months related experience and/or training
- Previous warehouse, manufacturing, finished goods, inventory, or shipping experience
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn inventory or shipping systems
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good organizational and time-management skills
