Job Summary
Lead and motivate finishers by supervising tasks, organizing work processes, and enforcing safety policies while applying paint, stain, and wipe-staining options to custom cabinetry. Operate HVLP spray guns, Roba and Makor machines, and perform hand sanding. Read order paperwork, utilize computer programs, and train staff on hazardous waste handling. Maintain a clean environment, cross-train during downtime, and assess staff performance for accuracy and consistency. Work Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM with mandatory overtime.

- Ability to perform hand sanding
- Ability to use wipe staining processes
- Roba machine operation
- Makor operation
- Ability to ascend or descend ladders and stepstools on an occasional basis
- Ability to remain standing in a stationary position for prolonged periods constantly
- Ability to move about accomplishing tasks or moving from one workstation to another constantly
- Ability to adjust or move objects of varying weights in all directions
- Ability to constantly move objects up to 20 pounds
- Ability to occasionally move objects up to 50 pounds
- Ability to perform constantly repeated motions that may include the wrists, hands, and/or fingers
- Ability to constantly operate machinery and/or power tools as assigned
- Ability to occasionally operate motor vehicles or heavy equipment
- Ability to work in occasional exposure to high temperatures during summer months
- Ability to work in constant exposure to noisy environments
- Ability to work in exposure to hazardous materials, specifically chemical hazards in the form of varnishes, lacquers, and solvents
- Ability to work in exposure to airborne particles, specifically sawdust
- Ability to work in occasional exposure to small and/or enclosed spaces
- Ability to read and comprehend order paperwork
- Ability to utilize various computer programs
- Ability to train on the handling of hazardous waste materials
- Dedication to keeping a clean and well-stocked working environment
- Ability to cross-train in other areas during department downtime
- Ability to assess the accuracy, neatness, consistency, and thoroughness of the work assigned
- Ability to accomplish department objectives by supervising and assigning tasks to staff
- Ability to organize and monitor work processes while finding opportunities for improvement
- Ability to maintain staff by training, coaching, disciplining, and developing personal growth opportunities
- Ability to assess the work performance of staff and identify areas that need improvement
- Ability to enforce company systems, policies, and procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment
- Must be available for mandatory overtime determined on a day-to-day basis
- Must be able to pass a background check
