Job Summary
Operate finish dozers and heavy machinery like loaders, excavators, and graders to perform precise grading, excavation, and site leveling tasks. Fastens attachments to the tractor, connects hydraulic hoses and power takeoff shafts, and maneuvers the equipment to raise or lower terrain to specified grades. Feel lever action and listen for engine stalling to estimate cut depth, while greasing, oiling, and repairing the tractor as needed. Requires high school diploma, proper certification, and apprenticeship completion. High school diploma, GED or equivalent years of experience Certification Proper certification required Completion of an apprenticeship program required.
