Job Summary
Traveling finish carpenter responsible for installing cabinets, casework, wall panels, column wraps, millwork, and trim in commercial/retail environments. Must read architectural/shop drawings, receive and stage inventory, and perform tasks including cabinet and countertop installation, base/runner trim, scribing, coping, and panel systems. Must comply with pre-employment screenings, be able to travel 2-8 weeks, and work 40-60 hours with potential overnight shifts. OSHA 10/30, forklift, and aerial lift certifications expected; bring basic hand tools and cordless drill. Required Qualifications
- Education: High School, Trade School or Equivalent
- Experience: 3-5 years installation and Commercial or Retail finish carpentry experience preferred
- Conditions: Pre-employment drug screening, criminal background check, MVR screening, CPR/First Aid training, ability to travel 2-8 weeks, OSHA 10 or 30, forklift, aerial lift, provide basic tools
- Responsibilities: Install cabinets, countertops, standing and running trim, wall panel systems, measure layouts, interpret drawings, submit time sheets/photos electronically
