Finish Carpenter -- Commercial Millwork/Cabinets/Trim -- Traveling Position
Job Summary
Finish Carpenter for commercial millwork and cabinets traveling position. Responsible for installing cabinets, casework, wall panels, column wraps, millwork and standing and running trim in commercial and retail environments. Read and interpret architectural drawings, shop drawings and floorplans; manage inventory and perform tasks including scribing, coping, and installing wall panel systems and retail fixtures. Must submit time sheets and expense reports, support site safety, and be able to work overtime with a typical 40 to 60 hour workweek. Travel from home for 2-8 weeks; overnight projects may occur. Tools required include basic hand tools and cordless drill. Certifications include OSHA 10 or 30, forklift, and aerial lift (training provided). Pre-employment screenings (drug, background, MVR) and Company-sponsored CPR/First Aid training are required. Required Qualifications
- Education: High School, Trade School or Equivalent
- Experience: 3-5 years installation and Commercial or Retail finish carpentry experience preferred
- Undergo pre-employment drug screening, criminal background check and MVR screening for approved driving status
- Complete a Company Sponsored CPR/First Aid Training course online
- Able to travel from home for durations of 2-8 weeks
- Provide basic hand tools and cordless drill
- Certifications: OSHA 10 or 30, Forklift, aerial lift (Training provided as needed)
