Job Summary
Traveling finish carpenter responsible for installing cabinets, casework, wall panels, column wraps, millwork, and trim in commercial/retail environments. Must read and interpret architectural/shop drawings, perform installations of cabinets, countertops, trim (base, chair rail, crown moldings, door/window casings), scribe and cope, install wall panel systems and retail fixtures, and submit time sheets/expense reports/photos electronically. Requires interaction with coworkers on-site, strong safety commitment, ability to travel 2-8 weeks, and readiness for overtime. Certifications in OSHA 10 or 30, forklift, and aerial lift are provided or required, with training as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Education: High School, Trade School or Equivalent
- Experience: 3-5 years installation and Commercial or Retail finish carpentry experience preferred
- Certifications: OSHA 10 or 30, Forklift, aerial lift (Training provided as needed)
- Ability to travel from home for durations of 2-8 weeks
- Provide basic hand tools and cordless drill
- Pre-employment drug screening, criminal background check and MVR screening for approved driving status
- CPR/First Aid Training course (online)
- Available to work overtime and non-conventional shifts
