Job Summary
Communicate with co-workers and management to solve problems and improve quality and service. Assist in the opening and/or closing of the catering department as per company checklist guidelines. Initiate dialogue and develop rapport with customers by learning their names, favourite drinks and food items. Understand and anticipate customer needs to provide exceptional, consistent offerings. Assist in reaching business goals and objectives as set out by management. 1-2 years' experience in a similar role is ideal, with fine dining experience highly regarded. Lunch on us while on shift, plus discounts on coffee and supplier goods. Catering HQ operates 20 venues across Sydney and Melbourne, striving for excellence and adapting to evolving market trends to deliver fresh menus and exceptional customer service.
Required Qualifications
- 1-2 years' Experience in a similar role
- Able to follow premium restaurant sequence of service
- Have a strong customer service focus
- Professional, upbeat and friendly personality
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Positive and flexible attitude
- Highest level of presentation and grooming standards
- Confidence to take charge and own the result, yet humble enough to listen and learn
- Honest and able to give and receive genuine feedback taking action as needed
- Able to follow direction and hold yourself to a high standard
