Fine-Dining Server, Fireside Restaurant

Fine-Dining Server at Fireside Restaurant, Medinah Country Club. Rate: $15-16/hr plus gratuity/tips. Job requires greeting and establishing positive relationships with members and guests, delivering exceptional dining experiences, stocking and maintaining restaurant equipment, setup and breakdown of bar and dining areas, daily requisition storage, performing side work, keeping the restaurant and patio clean and presentable, delivering food and beverages, answering questions about menus, taking and serving orders (including to-go and specialty orders), making recommendations, owning member requests, and performing other duties as assigned. Requirements include being 18 or older, holding a High School Diploma or equivalent, willingness to serve, excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work within a team, prior serving experience, availability for evenings, weekends, club events and holidays, Food Handler and BASSET certifications, ability to stand for extended periods, ability to lift up to 35 lbs, and prior experience in private clubs is a plus.
