Job Summary
The Fine Dining Food Runner is responsible for providing prompt and efficient food and beverage service to guests while ensuring quality and cleanliness in all areas. Candidates should have a professional demeanor and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include organizing food orders, delivering orders promptly, and maintaining cleanliness in the work area. A high school diploma or GED is required, along with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and communicate effectively in English.
Required Qualifications
- Professional demeanor appropriate for a fine dining restaurant environment
- Must be of minimum legal age to serve alcohol according to state law
- A food handling certification must be completed within the first 90 days of employment
- TIPS (Training for Intervention Procedures) certification must be completed within the first 90 days of employment
Desired Qualifications
- Previous food and beverage experience in a resort hotel environment
- Outstanding and professional guest services skills
- Knowledge of food and wine
