Job Summary
Fine Dining Bartender responsible for bar setup, mixing of drinks, service and cleanup of the bar area; ensure guest satisfaction and maintenance of company standards and profit maximization. Make and serve drinks following established guidelines; perform guest contact activities in a cordial, efficient, and professional manner; ring guest checks and handle cash and credits per company policies; complete liquor requisitions and supply lists; know and comply with state liquor laws and maintain pars; perform side work as scheduled. Must assist other employees to contribute to department performance. Must have basic knowledge of customer service principles, the food server function, and restaurant/kitchen operations; must know standard cash-handling procedures; fluent in oral and written English. Must multitask, follow instructions, communicate effectively, be highly organized, and handle multiple tasks in crowded, noisy environments; capable of lifting/carrying liquor, soda, ice, and glassware; able to bend, kneel, reach, and stand behind the bar; must have good hearing, vision, speech, and literacy to handle orders and payments.
