Job Summary
The Fine Arts Program Coordinator oversees the creation, implementation, and execution of Fine Arts programming and events in coordination with the Red Shield Program Director. Responsibilities include planning and scheduling internal and external Fine Arts programs, coordinating with partner groups, managing staff schedules and training, ensuring required documentation, promoting programs, assisting in employee processes, coordinating fundraising ideas with the Director of Programs and Development, and tracking activities for monthly reporting. Requires at least three years of experience in a Fine Arts focus and an associate degree (preferred). Salary range is $22-$25 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a Fine Arts focus, such as music, dance, traditional artforms, or digital arts
- Associate degree in related field preferred
- Proficiency in preparing budgets
- Proficiency in program development for Fine Arts classes and events
- The successful candidate will have managerial proficiency, public speaking, staff management and written communication expertise
- Be able to pass all required courses and trainings associated to the position
- Excellent management and organizational skill
- Strong result oriented and detail-oriented problem-solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills
- Self-motivated
- Ability to delegate and motivate assigned staff
- Ability to coordinate with other department staff appropriately
- Ability to maintain detailed and accurate records
- Advanced computer skills in MS Office Suite and Outlook
