Job Summary
Underwrite new and renewal Fine Art & Specie business across Asia while managing a portfolio of retail and facultative business. Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers, cedants, and reinsurance partners to support business development and marketing initiatives. Achieve portfolio profitability, retention, and growth objectives through sound commercial judgement and responsive service delivery. Contribute to portfolio analysis, reporting, and continuous improvement activities while collaborating with key internal stakeholders. This role is based in Singapore within a Fortune 500 general insurer dedicated to innovation and people development.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of relevant Insurance underwriting and/or broking experience
- Experience managing a portfolio of business
- Demonstrated success in business development and relationship management
- Strong commercial and underwriting judgement
- Established relationships within insurance distribution networks
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Desired Qualifications
- Experience underwriting Fine Art & Specie business
- Knowledge of insurance markets across Asia
