Job Summary
Director of Clinical Operations oversees the outpatient program’s clinical and operational functions for adolescents and adults with eating disorders, providing direct supervision to future licensed therapists, dietitians, and clerical staff. Responsibilities include developing and enforcing outpatient policies, budgeting and financial planning aligned with the budget, ensuring compliance with state/federal regulations and accreditation standards, facilitating program development and expansion, collaborating with external partners, providing individual therapy, crisis management, incident review and root cause analysis for patient safety, monitoring performance metrics, reviewing clinical documentation for quality and compliance, and lead training for staff. Candidates should hold a Master’s degree, be fully licensed (LMSW/LPC or equivalent), have multiple years of direct patient care in eating disorders with adolescents and adults, and possess leadership experience. Preferred familiarity with FBT and CBT-E, program development, and collaboration with external stakeholders. The role requires travel and supports a biblically based treatment environment.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in counseling, social work, or related field
- Fully licensed (e.g., LMSW, LPC, or equivalent)
- Minimum of two years direct patient care experience (adolescents and adults) including individual therapy
- Minimum of one year of leadership/supervisory/program management experience in a clinical setting
- Three or more years of direct patient care experience in eating disorders; experience with adolescents preferred
- Proficiency in evidence-based treatment approaches for eating disorders (FBT, CBT-E) preferred
- Experience in program development, quality assurance, or clinical initiatives is preferred
- Experience collaborating with external partners, referral sources, or community stakeholders is preferred
- Knowledge of licensing and accreditation standards applicable to outpatient behavioral health services is preferred
- Access to reliable transportation for required travel
- Ability to work in biblically based treatment environment
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
