Job Summary
Lead and develop the AML Investigations team in Budapest, guiding investigators to identify and analyze suspicious payments, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving operational improvements. Build a cohesive team culture, optimize processes, and collaborate with product, development, and other teams to enhance efficiency and customer experience. Responsibilities include setting personal development plans, shaping team identity, measuring KPIs, supporting automation initiatives, and fostering an inclusive environment aligned with Wise’s values. Requirements include 2+ years of team leadership in AML/FinCrime, strong AML knowledge, excellent communication, and legal authorization to work in Hungary (relocation support available).
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in leading and developing AML/FinCrime teams
- Strong knowledge in AML/FinCrime fields
- Ability to analyze and improve team metrics
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Legal authorization to work in Hungary (relocation support available)
- English fluency (written and spoken)
