Job Summary
Conduct daily strategic financial advisory and administrative support for the municipal executive and organization. Collaborate with the strategic financial advisor and colleagues to update on cluster priorities, draft advisory notes, and assess financial coverage for vacancies. Participate in meetings regarding P&C products, budget forecasts, and periodical budget adjustments while managing agenda items for budget modifications. This role sits within the Business Operations cluster of the Municipality of Westland, the fifth economy in the Netherlands. The position involves full-time, hybrid work in Naaldwijk, with a maximum hourly rate of €85.00.

- Minimaal een afgeronde opleiding op hbo bachelor niveau
- Minimaal 2 jaar aantoonbare werkervaring de afgelopen 5 jaar met complexe projecten waarin verbetervoorstellen op het gebied van financiën aantoonbaar zijn
- Verklaring Omtrent het Gedrag (VOG)
- Nederlands als voertaal (in taal en geschrift)
Desired Qualifications
- Minimaal een afgeronde opleiding op hbo bachelor niveau in een financieel/economische richting
- Minimaal 3 jaar aantoonbare werkervaring in de afgelopen 8 jaar met gemeentefinanciën binnen de financiële afdeling van een gemeentelijke organisatie
- Minimaal 5 jaar aantoonbare werkervaring in de afgelopen 10 jaar als financieel adviseur binnen een overheidsorganisatie
- Zelfstandige en doortastende verbinder
- Goed gevoel voor politieke en bestuurlijke verhoudingen
- Sterk analytisch vermogen
- Resultaatgericht en communicatief sterk
