Financial Verification Representative

Initiates contact with families to obtain necessary registration and insurance information, pre-registers patients by calling families or via department protocol, and ensures patient accounts flow through the billing cycle without errors related to insurance verification or registration. Uses the Epic system to enter registration and pre-registration data for multiple clinics, collects and verifies insurance and demographic information from patient families, physician offices, and insurance companies, identifies self-pay patients for Financial Counselors, utilizes the Language Interpretation system for non-English speakers, and participates in quality improvements while maintaining HIPAA confidentiality and following CHW policies.
