Job Summary
Financial Systems Analyst (MyPCS) role supporting Air Force Financial Management with gathering system access requirements, translating requirements into functional specifications for developers, and performing functional acceptance testing; requires collaboration with financial system functional teams and customers, strong analytical/problem-solving abilities, and the ability to manage multiple tasks to ensure project success.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and 3-5 years of related experience (or 10 years’ experience without degree)
- Familiarity with Air Force Permanent Change of Station (PCS) processing, accounting, voucher processing and entitlements
- Ability to provide subject matter support in multiple environments through management and maintenance of Roles, Responsibilities and User Accounts
- Business Analysis such as CCBA, Program Management, or Organizational Change Management (OCM) certification
- Awareness of Air Force PCS regulations and instruction such as DoD FMR, DoD 4500.9-R, DAF manual 36-2102, and Joint Travel Regulations
- Understanding of regulations concerning entitlements with travel
- Strong customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Good organizational, time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to successfully pass government local files check (NACi) quickly
