Job Summary

Administer, maintain, and support the firm's Aderant financial management system, including Expert Billing, iTimekeep, and SSRS reporting. Provide day-to-day technical support, troubleshooting, and system configuration for integrated financial applications. Design, develop, and maintain dashboards, tiles, and analytical tools to improve system usability and business insights. Evaluate, implement, and optimize Aderant functionality and third-party software solutions to enhance operational efficiency. Coordinate with vendors to manage support tickets and ensure issue escalation and resolution. Collaborate with Accounting, Legal Operations, and Data Analytics teams to develop integrations between financial systems and databases. Monitor maintenance schedules, backups, and recovery processes to ensure system stability. Configure system enhancements, customizations, and automations while performing quality assurance and testing in both test and production environments. Analyze business requirements to recommend solutions that improve financial system performance and user adoption. Participate in strategic initiatives and system enhancement projects supporting the firm's growth. Develop and maintain system documentation, procedures, and training materials for end users. Stay current with Aderant product enhancements and industry best practices.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience supporting Aderant financial systems
  • Experience with Aderant Design Studio
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial systems, controls, processes, and best practices
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical concepts, business requirements, and system issues effectively to end users, management, and key stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve system-related issues efficiently
  • Excellent customer service, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Ability to build productive working relationships across departments and provide a high level of user support
  • Skilled at translating technical information into clear, user-friendly language for non-technical audiences
  • Highly adaptable and able to manage changing priorities, projects, and business needs in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to remain composed and professional while troubleshooting issues and responding to time-sensitive requests
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
  • Proficient in working independently as well as collaboratively within cross-functional teams
  • Must be available for occasional weekends and holidays
  • Must have the ability to walk short distances
  • Must have the ability to drive a vehicle to deliver and pick up materials
  • Must have the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards
  • Must have close visual acuity to perform activities such as preparing and analyzing data and figures, transcribing, viewing a computer terminal, and extensive reading
  • 10-30% domestic travel by car and by plane
