Job Summary
Stage I Financial Solutions Advisor trainee begins by obtaining securities licenses (SIE, Series 7, Series 66) and progresses toward delivering Bank of America’s core banking and investment solutions. The role involves building and managing client relationships, assessing clients’ financial needs, and guiding them with appropriate solutions while complying with regulatory requirements. Training and licensing milestones are provided, with structured study time and coaching from Academy managers. Initial duties include interacting with banking customers and higher net-worth clients within a financial center and collaborating with core banking and investment partners to connect clients to suitable Bank of America and Merrill solutions. The program emphasizes in-office development, a defined consultative approach, and ongoing career progression through licensed advisory roles.
Required Qualifications
- Aptitude in obtaining required industry licenses
- Must be self-disciplined in managing time and capacity
- Experience in cultivating client relationships, accessing needs and recommending solutions
- Ability to learn and adapt to new technology or applications
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Experience in sales or financial services is preferred
