Job Summary
Lead tax projects for a Financial Services client base within EY’s FSO, overseeing tax processes and complex tax-related issues, preparing tax filings and analyses, and coordinating day-to-day team activities. Manage client relationships, team performance, and cross-functional alignment to deliver high-quality tax information, research, and compliance deliverables; provide leadership and coaching to team members and escalate issues to senior management as needed. Maintain knowledge of new tax and accounting developments and apply them to engagements; leverage tax and accounting technologies (e.g., Gosystems, Onesource TP, Corp Tax) to support accurate tax reporting and business analysis. Flexible, collaborative environment with emphasis on delivering timely, accurate tax services, driving engagement delivery, and supporting new client opportunities; require a Bachelor’s degree and minimum 5 years of relevant experience; proficient with Microsoft Office and tax software; strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Tax, Law
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a professional services or tax services
- Proficient using Microsoft products such as Excel, Word, and Power Point
- Experience with financial and tax applications such as Gosystems, Onesource TP, Corp Tax, as required by area of specialism
- Proficient in the use of various tax and accounting technologies
- Possess and apply a comprehensive knowledge of accounting and finance
