Job Summary
Services Manager in EY EDGE State & Local Tax delivering tax compliance and consulting work for clients; lead and manage a team of tax professionals, identify opportunities/risks, develop plans to improve clients’ tax activities, research market trends, build long-term client relationships, coach and develop staff, and work in a hybrid model with in-person collaboration around client engagements.
Required Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related discipline or a graduate degree in Tax or Law
- CPA, Enrolled Agent, or Licensed Attorney
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in professional services or professional tax organization
- Thorough understanding of automated tax processing systems and laws within your area of technical professionalism
- Excellent collaboration and negotiation skills and the ability to challenge senior colleagues and stakeholders from diverse backgrounds
- Commitment to continuing learning
