Job Summary
Greet and acknowledge clients promptly, directing them to appropriate personnel while maintaining confidentiality. Process deposit/withdrawal transactions, facilitate cashier's checks, and handle loan payments and account maintenance requests following proper bank policies. Assist with branch opening/closing procedures, ATM balancing, and controlling assigned cash drawers to ensure accurate financial records. Adhere to all federal, state, and local banking regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act and Anti-Money Laundering laws, by reporting discrepancies or suspicious activity as required. Maintain a positive attitude, function effectively in a team environment, and accept new ideas and methods. Available to work the required branch schedule, including Saturdays, with the ability to travel to various locations or training sessions.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Ability to routinely stand, sit, bend and stoop
- Occasionally lift or carry loads up to 40 pounds
- Ability to stand for long periods of time as needed
- Average, ordinary, visual acuity necessary to prepare and inspect documents or products and operate machinery
- Ability to hear average or normal conversations and receive ordinary information
- Must be available to work the required schedule of the branch office to include Saturdays
- Able to maintain regular and predictable attendance
- Willing to accept new ideas and methods and be agreeable to change
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to apply knowledge and sound judgment in decision-making using established guidelines
- Cash handling experience
- Strong math skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Detail oriented and ability to function in a team environment
- Demonstrates ability to maintain a positive attitude
- High level of integrity
Desired Qualifications
- Associates degree
- Minimum one year of banking experience
- Sales experience
- Thorough knowledge of various Teller Drawer equipment (PODs, Recyclers, traditional cash drawer, etc.)
- Proficient level of computer competency including Microsoft Windows (Word, Excel, Outlook), typing and ten-key proficient
- One- year of banking experience
- Ability to travel to various branch locations
- Ability to travel to training sessions or meetings
