Job Summary
As a Financial Services Representative at Fraser Street (Part-time, Temporary/6-month contract) you’ll be the first point of contact for members, greeting them warmly and building trust through attentive interactions. You’ll explore member needs across Everyday Banking, Borrowing, Investments, and Protection, provide guidance to connect them with appropriate products or specialists, and help them use online tools to manage banking independently. You’ll take ownership of interactions, follow through on commitments, ensure accurate documentation and compliance, and support branch success through a sales-oriented, member-centric approach. The role is based at the Fraser Street Community Branch (Branch 07) in Vancouver, BC, Canada, with on-site work expected, and offers starting pay of $27.21 per hour with potential variability based on qualifications and internal equity.
Required Qualifications
- Education – High School Diploma (or equivalent)
- Exceptional Communication Skills – ability to listen, explain concepts clearly, and build trust
- Customer Service Experience – background in retail, hospitality, or other service-oriented roles
- Sales Orientation – comfortable working toward goals and offering solutions
