Financial Services Regulatory Lawyer

Job Summary
Provide practical, business-focused legal advice on financial-services regulatory matters, including FCA and PRA requirements, conduct, governance, risk, and product issues. Support regulatory change projects, product launches, financial promotions, customer documentation, outsourcing, and operational resilience initiatives. Draft, review, and advise on a broad range of regulatory and commercial materials, including policies, procedures, customer terms, governance documents, product documentation, and regulatory submissions. Work closely with legal, compliance, risk, product, operations, commercial, and senior business stakeholders to manage regulatory risk and deliver pragmatic solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Qualified lawyer eligible to practise in the UK, or an equivalent qualification with relevant UK financial-services regulatory experience
- Experience advising on one or more areas of financial-services regulation, including banking, payments, fintech, consumer finance, asset management, insurance, investment services or financial crime
- Experience gained in private practice, in-house, on secondment or within a regulated business, financial institution, consultancy or professional-services environment
- Strong commercial awareness, legal judgment, drafting, stakeholder-management and communication skills, with the ability to provide clear, pragmatic and business-focused advice
- Possessing the necessary legal authorization to work
