Job Summary
The Financial Services Manager role is on-site and responsible for selling financing and insurance programs to new and pre-owned vehicle buyers. Key duties include explaining aftermarket products and extended service contracts, processing and obtaining approvals from finance sources, maintaining relationships with finance sources, verifying insurance and payoffs on trades, handling federal/state/dealer paperwork, ensuring accuracy of residuals, titles, taxes, and DMV paperwork, resolving contract discrepancies to ensure loan payments, assisting in collecting down payments and monies, sourcing new lending institutions for competitive rates, and meeting monthly sales and guest-satisfaction objectives. The position also entails maintaining professional conduct and participating in other administrative tasks as needed, with a compensation structure that includes a base hourly rate plus commission. Required Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of two (2) years sales experience, automotive finance experience preferred
- Knowledge of financial concepts in automotive sales
- Ability to coordinate activities and communicate professionally
- Read and comprehend instructions in English
- Understand federal, state, and local laws governing retail auto sales
- Attention to detail and follow-up
- Professional appearance and customer relations
