Job Summary
Independent advisor opportunity to build and manage your own financial services portfolio under the Co-operators brand. You’ll establish trusted client relationships, provide income protection and wealth solutions, and grow a sustainable book of business through proactive prospecting, networking, referrals, and community engagement. Operate as an independent contractor with a client-first approach, ongoing licensing requirements, and access to enterprise-level tools and support. The role emphasizes autonomy, entrepreneurship, and the ability to work in a remote-friendly model while maintaining brand standards and delivering tailored insurance and wealth solutions to Canadians and communities.

- You will distribute Co-operators products exclusively, in accordance with the terms of your independent contractor agreement
- You will be required to complete a comprehensive background check

Desired Qualifications
- Hold a valid Life Insurance License (LLQP or equivalent) and/or Mutual Funds License (e.g., IFC, CIFC), or are willing to obtain them
- Experience in financial services, insurance, banking, or other advice-based sales environments
- Experience running your own business
- Client-facing advisory or relationship-management experience
- Autonomy and self-motivation to build and grow a book of business
- Strong prospecting, networking, and community engagement skills
- Proven ability to establish trusted relationships and deliver tailored financial solutions
