Job Summary
Financial Services Analyst responsible for high-volume annuity disbursement processing (transfers, full surrenders, withdrawals, and RMDs) with adherence to fraud prevention protocols in a fast-paced environment. The role requires coordination between contract holders, producers, and internal Nationwide departments, validating forms for accurate entry into record keeping systems, and identifying process improvements using lean methodologies. The associate works a SuccessFlex schedule with 2 days in office and 3 days remote, and must reside within 35 miles of Grandview, OH. The position involves understanding topics requiring insurance or securities licensing and routing inquiries to appropriately-registered representatives, along with processing withdrawals, exchanges, deposits, annuity purchases, and contract cash-outs, and supporting special projects and reporting. Education/experience includes high school studies (undergraduate desirable), FINRA Series 6 licensing as applicable, and strong customer service and analytical skills.
Required Qualifications
- High school studies (undergraduate studies desirable)
- Four or more years of related work experience, including customer service experience
- Knowledge of Nationwide's suite of financial products and ability to manage customer relationships
- License/Certification/Designation: FINRA Series 6 license preferred, may be required based on product/line-of-business
- Participation in technical coursework such as LOMA, CLU, ChFC desirable
