Job Summary
Financial Services Analyst - Collections responsible for contacting customers regarding payment status and documenting updates in the Collections System; performing daily invoice reconciliation; distributing weekly aging reports to sales teams; conducting monthly reviews with the sales organization on high-risk accounts; researching invoice discrepancies and unapplied checks; processing credit card payments and any necessary credits on customer accounts; supported by a team-focused, customer-service philosophy to adapt to a rapidly changing logistics environment.
Required Qualifications
- Previous Collections/Customer Service experience preferred
- Skilled in verbal and written communication
- Proven analytical and problem solving skills
- Capable of identifying customer needs and maintain and support a customer service philosophy
- Ability to use decision making skills to offer options and resolve problems in a fast paced environment
- Has talent to exercise good judgment
- Knack for adapting to constant changes in work environment, work assignments, and/or changes in priorities
- Ability to have difficult conversations with large customers
