Job Summary
Provide general credit union information to members regarding products and services, create financial options leading to sales closures and referrals, and prepare loan applications by analyzing member financial positions and disbursing approved loans. Process member requests such as opening or closing accounts, address changes, and payroll updates, while serving as a teller as needed. Maintain thorough knowledge of share and loan products, policies, and procedures to effectively develop and maintain financial relationships through a consultative selling process. Work in the South Burlington branch as needed for coverage.
Required Qualifications
- Six months to two years of similar or related experience
- A high school education or GED
- Good listening and telephone skills
- Able to operate a 10-key calculator, typewriter and computer keyboard
- Able to make decisions with minimum information
- This position will also be required to work in our South Burlington branch as needed for coverage
Desired Qualifications
- Prior banking experience
