Job Summary
As a Financial Sales Representative Flex at Marquette Bank, you will manage a portfolio of bank customers, build and deepen relationships, and identify opportunities to promote bank products (deposits, loans, investments, and insurance) to meet annual goals. You’ll conduct telephone outreach, conduct personal contact via telephone, mail and appointments, leverage walk-in branch traffic, and represent the bank at expos and community events. The role requires a flexible schedule and the ability to travel to multiple branches, with a focus on consultative selling, cross-selling opportunities, regulatory compliance, and delivering outstanding customer service. The position emphasizes relationship development, identifying external opportunities, processing applications to set up accounts and loans, and adherence to Bank policies and applicable laws. Key skills include excellent communication, problem-solving, time management, and the ability to coordinate multiple projects in a team-oriented, community-focused banking environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years financial sales or comparable experience
- Willingness to sell the Bank’s services on a proactive basis
- Strong interpersonal skills including good oral communication, effective listening and quality customer service
- Ability to successfully complete extensive product and sales training
- Demonstrated ability to handle difficult and sensitive business situations
- Analytical, creative and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent time management and ability to coordinate multiple projects
