Job Summary
Financial Sales Representative with Flex at Marquette Bank manages a portfolio of customers, identifies opportunities to cross-sell bank products (deposits, loans, investments, insurance), and increases profitability through consultative selling via telephone, mail, and appointments. Role includes promoting products at branch visits and community events, building relationships, processing applications and documentation to set up accounts and loans within regulatory guidelines, and traveling to multiple branches with a flexible schedule. Requires High School diploma, 2+ years of financial sales experience, proactive selling mindset, strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to complete product/sales training, and capability to handle sensitive business situations. Compensation includes base pay of $16.50-$17.75/hour plus $2/hour additional compensation for flex, totaling approximately $38,480-$41,080 annually, plus incentives; benefits and rewards package available.
Required Qualifications
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years financial sales or comparable experience
- Willingness to sell the Bank’s services on a proactive basis
- Strong interpersonal skills including good oral communication, effective listening skills and quality customer service skills
- Ability to successfully complete extensive product and sales training towards customer relationship development
- Demonstrated ability to handle difficult and sensitive business situations
- Solid analytical, creative and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent time management skills and ability to coordinate multiple projects
