Financial Risk Analytics (FRA) Implementation & Support Consultant

Job Summary
Support FRA client implementation, onboarding, and business-as-usual activities by coordinating workflows across engineering, product, and support teams. Manage day-to-day issues, investigate system and data problems, and respond to client requests with detailed analysis and clear follow-through. Prepare delivery updates, risks, and dependencies for stakeholders while ensuring UAT environments reflect production design. Perform data validation, quality checks, and analysis across the S&P Global data estate to support operational processes. Coordinate release windows, capture project metrics for continuous improvement, and provide coverage for colleagues as needed. Work occasionally evenings or weekends to accommodate client deadlines and time-zone differences.
Required Qualifications
- Undergraduate or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or another relevant technical discipline
- Experience in cloud technology, ideally AWS, but GCP/Azure also valued
- Experience with REST APIs/JSON/XML
- Kubernetes experience
- Project management qualification such as Prince 2 or equivalent experience
- Experience with data analysis and operational problem solving
- Experience with Python or other programming/scripting languages
- Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, and XML
- Exposure to modern technology platforms and workflows
- Experience contributing to or managing successful and complex technology implementation or delivery projects
- Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across functions and geographies
- Capable of working effectively in a fast-paced business environment managing multiple tasks and deadlines
- Adept at building and maintaining trusted and respected relationships with clients and colleagues at all levels
- Self-starter with strong ownership and attention to detail
- Highly proficient verbal and written communication skills in English
- Personally engaging and able to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Able to positively engage with, and contribute to, the wider global team
- Willing to work occasional evenings and/or weekends to accommodate client deadlines and time-zone differences
- Must attend at least one in-person interview at your nearest S&P Global office
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or another relevant technical discipline preferred

- Adept at building and maintaining trusted and respected relationships with clients and colleagues at all levels
- Self-starter with strong ownership and attention to detail
