Job Summary
Monitor assigned Program Elements to justify operational requirements and defend funding against budget cuts. Facilitate the PPBE process for O&M, Procurement, RDTE, and Military Personnel cyber-funding lines while analyzing financial baselines to guide system modernization. Vet unfunded requirements across MAJCOM, Wing, Group, and Unit levels to prioritize upcoming fiscal year budgets. Draft POM initiatives, identify funding disconnects, and build advocacy briefings to close critical resource gaps. Consolidate financial taskings to meet suspense dates and provide fiscal briefings to the Branch Chief and Senior Leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a US citizen
- Must have Active Secret
- High School Diploma
- Minimum five (5) years of DoD financial resource management experience
- Two (2) years of DoD budget cycle experience
- Two (2) years of POM experience
- Two (2) years of baseline analysis experience
Desired Qualifications
- Thorough understanding of the PPBE process
- Understanding of USG budgeting principles supporting cyberspace requirements
- Strong ability to manage multiple complex tasks
- Ability to coordinate efforts across the contract team
- A good understanding of Air Force communication networks
- Understanding of mission systems
- Understanding of Cyber operations
