Job Summary
Prepare periodic financial statements by consolidating journal entries, eliminating intercompany transactions, and merging divisional and subsidiary accounts for internal and external reporting. Collaborate with external auditors to ensure reporting quality and compliance with professional standards, AIA group policies, and statutory requirements. Provide clarifications on reporting and consolidation areas to stakeholders and perform other assigned tasks aligned with business policy. Complete a criminal background check prior to joining in accordance with AIA recruitment policy and PDPA standards.
Required Qualifications
- Responsible for preparing and distributing periodic financial statements to various stakeholders, and the compliance with professional standards, AIA group reporting policy and statutory and regulatory requirements
- Prepare consolidation of journal entries
- Eliminate intercompany transactions and consolidate divisional and subsidiary financial accounts for inclusion in internal and external financial statements
- Work with external auditors to safeguard reporting quality and compliance
- Provide clarifications on reporting and consolidation areas with stakeholders
- Responsible for other relating tasks as assigned to align with business policy and build long term business growth
