Job Summary
Role focuses on UK Life IFRS and Solvency II reporting for Unit Linked products with monthly and quarterly reporting of financial performance and IFRS disclosures to support Aviva Group results and statutory accounting. Responsibilities include timely delivery of financial results, Solvency II data submissions, SME support to a changing agenda, and liaison with finance teams to deliver high-quality reporting outputs. The position offers exposure to senior stakeholders and a pathway to broaden cross-functional visibility within Aviva’s Services Excellence Centre, with a hybrid working model from Poland (Warsaw area) including several days per month in the office. Candidates should have a university degree (economics/finance/accounting) and professional accounting qualifications (e.g., ACCA, BR) plus at least 3 years of relevant experience in IFRS/Solvency II reporting in insurance or financial institutions, along with strong English, presentation, stakeholder-management, and problem-solving skills.
Required Qualifications
- University degree preferred in economics, finance & accounting or similar (accounting qualifications e.g. ACCA, BR would be a strong asset)
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in technical accounting/reporting (ideally IFRS, Solvency II) in insurance or audit of financial institutions
- Very good English language skills (working with English-speaking stakeholders on a daily basis)
- Presentation and stakeholder management skills
- Proactive approach, ability to challenge status quo
- Problem-solving skills
