Job Summary
Plan, schedule, and manage the production of interim and annual US GAAP/IFRS financial statements for hedge, private equity, and real estate funds. Act as the primary point of contact for clients, implementing service requirements and performing technical reviews of financial statements to ensure accuracy prior to issuance. Set individual and team targets, conduct performance appraisals, and provide technical guidance on accounting standards. Support new business integration and deputise for the assistant vice president as required.
Required Qualifications
- Based in the Dublin office
- Possess a degree in finance, business / accounting or related discipline
- Have 6-8 years' experience working in a similar environment or related environment
- Experience managing staff
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards as they relate to funds (IFRS, Irish GAAP in particular)
- Possess strong knowledge of US GAAP/IFRS investment company financial statements
- previous experience servicing alternative investments
Desired Qualifications
- The role would also suit someone who is a qualified professional accountant (eg. ACA, ACCA, CPA)
